Version 0.8 of O365Migrator is now available as a free download.
A frequently asked feature has been added to O365Migrator: in addition to migrating all your user’s homedirectories, O365Migrator can now also migrate entire fileservers (shares) to Sharepoint Online!
You can find the new version here.
Hi there,
First of all nice tool, but im missing 1 important option.
How can i copy my content to a subfolder ?
Hi Jos
I am using version 8b and have an issue with the GUI.
I can only just see the tops of the buttons for verify and upload. on the homedir migration tab.
I can still just about click them, but there is only about 7 pixels of the buttons height showing.

Good morning. Wanted to follow-up on the last discussion regarding moving data to a sub-folder in One Drive. Do you think that feature may be added soon? I have a customer requesting that option.
Thanks
Hi Jos,
first of all, fantastic work!! I’ve got a problem uploading. If I use the homedir migration I get an error:
Could not connect to user’s Onedrive URL: https://xyz-my.sharepoint.com/personal/abc_xyz_nl, library Documents, has it been provisioned? | Exception calling “ExecuteQuery” with “0” argument(s): “List ‘Documents’ does not exist at site with URL ‘https://xyz-my.sharepoint.com/personal/abc_xyz_nl’.”
Same happens when I use the folder migration with the library “Documents” However if I use “Documenten” as library it works.
Is there a way to have the homedir migration to use “Documenten” as library instead of “Documents?
First, great product, especially at the price !
Is it possible to configure migrator to NOT overwrite all files on every run so I can run it every once in a while to keep libraries up to date?
Is it possible to run it on a schedule using Windows scheduler and some sort of config file?
Hi Jos,
I just tried your script for a couple of my users, but something strange is going on. All files in the root of the user home folder are skipped.
All files in the subfolders are uploaded just fine. Any idea what the problem is?
The log file reports only that the folder “O4BMoved” is created.
Hi Don,
that would require some changes, the code as is won’t be able to do so since it basically mirrors source to target.
I’ll add it to the feature requests.
Jos
Is there a way to have the data copied from the local home folders to be placed in a sub-folder in Office365 rather than just the default location? I am being asked to place them in a folder called HomeFolder in the OneDrive folder.
Thanks
